The Trail Breaker

It's soon that time of year again, for those of you who like to follow "The Last Great Race". This year I will be able to see the Ceremonial Start on 4th Street, Downtown, live and in person! The statue of "Balto" is a short half a block walk from my front door.
Among the links below is "Zuma's Paw Prints". The kids will really enjoy that.

2009 Iditarod Training is in Full Swing!

Iditarod XXXVII mushers have taken to the trails in preparation of the 2009 Iditarod. Teams are beginning the process of building their endurance and honing their skill sets in order to maintain that competitive edge. There are a number of qualifying races that will begin as early as next month (January) that allow teams to fine tune their game plan for "The Toughest Race on Earth" The Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race.
