Spring Is Here

The last of the ice and snow is a distant memory. Overnight, fresh green leaves are exploding on the trees. I'm amazed at how broad and wide the sidewalks are downtown, without any snow on them. Early Bird Tourists are livening up the place. The Season officially begins next week but there are always some travelers who want to get a head start.

The darkness of nighttime is also a memory now! As of today we have 19 hours 15 minutes of visible light and still gaining 5 minutes a day until the Solstice in mid June.

Bessie and me enjoy our three times a day walks in the bright sunshine, warm on the skin, and cool breezes give a delicious counterpoint.

The Weekend Market and Festival begins next Saturday, May 17!
