The 2010 Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race is Officially On!

At 2 pm Alaska time (6 pm Eastern Time), Willow Musher Linwood Fiedler's team was the first team to leave the chute in Willow Alaska.  It was the beginning of the 38th edition of "The Last Great Race on Earth."  Fiedler's team headed out toward the Big Susitna River and on to Yentna and Skwentna Checkpoints already!  Click here to see where all the mushers are right now!

The Iditarod Insider Team is Waiting For the First Team To Arrive in Finger Lake!

Iditarod Insider Analyst Bruce and EMMY award winning cameraman Jordan Caskey are in Finger Lake tonight. They arrived right before sunset. Bruce talked about the activity that is taking place over the next several hours as teams begin getting nearer to this very strategic checkpoint. Click here to see more.
